Why joined Hoosier Cruiser:
I got my FZJ80 and got hooked on cruisers and shortly after I bought and restored a 40. I needed to find like minded individuals to learn from as far as wheeling and outfitting. I had already spent too much on some items that if I could do it over again I wouldn't! I found the club through the old website and was able to contact Mike Smythe from the info there. Mike's enthusiasm for cruisers is apparently contagious, because I have been a steady member ever since meeting him and a few guys at his home garage. I have really enjoyed becoming more involved in the club over the last couple of years benefiting from numerous new friends, experiences and a greater understanding of my rig and it's abilities. When I first joined HC I was as green a newbie to off roading as was possible. The membership's biggest draw to me was their ability to include all types of rigs with many different skill levels. The encouragement and support of the members made the initial learning curve much easier to get through and without any damage to the truck or my ego!
